The Greater Manchester Pledge sets out a series of commitments from the 10 GM Local Authorities to work together to improve the stability of the children’s social care workforce. This includes controlling the rates that GM Local Authorities pay for agency social workers through agreed regional capped rates, working in closer partnership with Managed Service Providers around the supply chain of agency staff and introducing a standard reference template to improve quality of workers in the city-region.
