We Stand Together

Greater Manchester is a place where we all work together to build strong, safe and united communities. Brexit has caused uncertainty for many citizens from other EU countries, and there was a rise in hate crime incidents across the country, including in Greater Manchester, following the 2016 referendum.

Despite any uncertainty over Brexit, Greater Manchester is – and will remain – a place which celebrates its great diversity.

The We Stand Together charity was set up to help build on the Greater Manchester spirit of acceptance and aims to celebrate our differences, fight hatred and intolerance, and build a safer and stronger country.

Greater Manchester is proud to take a stand against hate crime, and anyone who has experienced it is encouraged to report it.
