Manchester Airport is the UK’s largest regional airport. It handles over 22 million passengers a year, with more than 100 airlines offering direct flights to over 200 worldwide destinations.
It's one of the north west’s largest centres of employment: more than 20,000 people work there, with another 42,500 jobs connected to its success.
The airport has its own rail station, bus and coach interchange and Metrolink tram stop. It's right next to the motorway, and major routes into the city.
There's plenty of development taking place at and around the airport, including the Airport City Enterprise Zone which will bring even more businesses and jobs to the area.
