The Standards Committee deals with matters of conduct and ethical standards regarding members of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and its committees.
GMCA Resources Committee
The Resources Committee considers matters relating to the transition to an integrated Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
GMCA Audit Committee
Checks that the finances of the GMCA and the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) are managed to high standards of openness, integrity and accountability. It is a legal requirement to have an audit committee.

To help build trust and public confidence, an independent policing ethics committee – the first of its type in the country – will advise the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Beverley Hughes, and Greater Manchester Police on the complex dilemmas that policing faces in the modern world.
