Transformation of town centres planned at GMCA meeting

A REFRESH of town centres across Greater Manchester has been discussed by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

The ‘Town Centre Challenge’ proposals tabled at the GMCA meeting on October 27 look at regenerating and reviving towns across the city-region.

Each borough will have the opportunity to nominate a town with regeneration potential.

The challenge looks to breathe new life for each town through housing and community opportunities.

The application process for the transformation of town centres will be open shortly.
