Core UKSPF People and Skills Investment Priority and GM Multiply Scheme
GMCA’s Education, Work and Skills Flexible Procurement System (FPS) is now reopen for applications on The Chest.
The FPS has been created to allow for easier and quicker commissioning activity, whilst creating opportunities for a wider range of suppliers to bid for GMCA commissioned education, work and skills activity.
As such, it is anticipated that the FPS will be used as part of the commissioning process for the People and Skills investment priority of the Core UK Shared Prosperity Fund as well as certain GM Multiply workstreams.
Therefore, if your organisation is interested in bidding as a lead provider for any future Core UKSPF People and Skills or GM Multiply opportunities please ensure that you apply / reapply to the FPS before the deadline of Monday 27th February 2023 at 12noon. Please note that an application is not a guarantee of admission onto the FPS. Also, admission to the FPS does not guarantee funding but gives providers the opportunity to bid on pots of funding that they are eligible for.
More information, including details of future application workshops, can be found on the Flexible Procurement System (FPS) page of the GMCA website.
Presentations, recordings and FAQs from previous events will be able to be accessed in the new year by registering for the FPS opportunity on The Chest.
For any questions on the FPS, please email EWSframework@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk. Please note that the UKSPF Team cannot answer any queries regarding the FPS.
Core UKSPF Local Business Investment Priority (Intervention E23)
It is anticipated that any future commissioning opportunities for Core UKSPF Local Business Intervention E23 (Local R&D, local entrepreneurial ecosystems and supporting businesses) will be posted on The Chest in early 2023.
Organisations should therefore ensure that they are registered on The Chest, that their contact details are up to date and that their notifications are set up correctly to ensure that details of any opportunities for this intervention are received.

Organisations should ensure that they are registered on The Chest and that their contact details and notifications are up to date in order to receive details of any other market engagement or procurement opportunities for Core UKSPF interventions that may go live in the future.
