Notice of Examination Hearings (Regulation 24)

Places for Everyone Joint Development Plan Document 

Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) 

On 14 February 2022, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (on behalf of the nine boroughs of Bolton Council, Bury Council, Manchester City Council, Oldham Council, Rochdale Council, Salford City Council, Tameside Council, Trafford Council, and Wigan Council) submitted the Places for Everyone Joint Development Plan Document to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, in accordance with Regulation 22(3) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended).The Secretary of State, to carry out the independent examination of the plan, has appointed three inspectors:

  1. William Fieldhouse BA(Hons)MA MRTPI;
  2. Louise Gibbons BA(Hons) MRTPI; and
  3. Steven Lee BA(Hons) MA MRTPI.

The examination hearings concerning the plan will commence on Tuesday 1 November 2022 at 9:30am. They are expected to run until Thursday 30 March 2023. Hearings are to take place at the former Manchester Fire and Rescue Training Centre, Cassidy Close, Manchester M4 5HU.
