Training provider opportunities
The Skills for Growth programme has been made possible thanks to European Social Funding with a focus on priority industries including:
- Digital
- Construction (particularly retrofit and green technologies)
- Manufacturing
- Health and social care
- Hospitality
- Logistics
- Education
- Creative, technology and culture
The programme targets priority individuals currently in employment to increase their skills levels and reduce inequalities. In particular, this will include Greater Manchester's ageing population, people who are low paid and women in employment.
The commissioning stage of the programme has now ended, with a total of 11 providers working to deliver skills across a wide range of industries.
