Thousands sign up for our pass exclusives on new look website

• Co-op, Vimto and the city region’s two Premier League football giants, Manchester City and Manchester United, are among the big-name Greater Manchester brands supporting the fresh wave of offers.
• 50 lucky Our Pass members will win a 24-can crate of Vimto for their friends and family. They could also win one of ten £50 Co-op food cards. And Our Pass members can get a 10% discount at Manchester City and Manchester United’s club stores.
• There’s an amazing new tech offer from MID Communications for Our Pass members, who can win a Samsung tablet and free wi-fi. Also apply to win one of 10 x £50 JD gift cards that are up for grabs now, with future competitions and giveaways on the way.

Many of Greater Manchester’s biggest brands – including the Co-op, Manchester City, Manchester United and Vimto – are providing exclusive offers on the new look Our Pass website.

More than 16,000 new membership cards have been issued to young people since Our Pass applications went live at the start of July. Our Pass is designed by and made for young people. It’s the only scheme of its kind - there’s nothing else like it in the UK. As part of the refresh for September 2020, a new website has also been launched at ourpass.co.uk

For a one-off £10 administration fee, young people who have just left school get two key things: free travel on buses across Greater Manchester, making getting to college, training or into work possible. And exclusive offers and experiences that range from retail discounts and event tickets to careers talks, tasters and workshops.

Vimto are offering 50 lucky Our Pass winners a 24-can crate each of their fruity drink to share with family and friends. The Co-op will provide ten lucky winners with a membership card each loaded with £50 credit to spend in any Co-op store across the UK - that's your food shopping sorted for the week.

Manchester City and Manchester United are both offering Our Pass holders a 10% discount in their official stores, with further offers to follow. Both clubs are working with the Premier League and relevant authorities to welcome fans back to their grounds when it is safe to do so.

That is why I am delighted that the Greater Manchester businesses are supporting our young people via Our Pass to help them through the crisis. It’s great to see the response we’ve had so far, but let’s keep going as more services open up again and become available.”

Applications are open now and school leavers can start using the travel card from September as they commence the next step in their education and careers. Those who are eligible to apply must live in Greater Manchester and have been born between 1 September 2001 and 31 August 2004.

Young people who were part of the first year of Our Pass will also have their access to Our Pass exclusive offers extended for a year.
