Supporting Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
GMCA collaborates with the ten Greater Manchester local authorities and various partners to enhance the experiences of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are committed to ensuring that every child and young person with SEND has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The Greater Manchester SEND Programme is led by the Greater Manchester SEND Board, which provides strategic direction for SEND policy across the city-region. The board oversees a variety of initiatives aimed at improving the experiences of children and young people with SEND, as well as their families.
