We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for talented DJs and producers from Greater Manchester to attend the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in October 2025. This initiative aims to support and showcase our local artists on an international stage, fostering artistic growth, cultural exchange, and career development. 

Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is a premier electronic music conference and festival held annually in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2025, ADE will take place from October 22 to 26, 2025. 

This event is renowned for its comprehensive program that spans five days and nights, featuring: 

  • 300+ Parties: With over 300 parties hosted across 80 venues, ADE offers non-stop entertainment and showcases a diverse range of electronic music genres.  

  • 2000 DJs and Artists: The event attracts top DJs and producers from around the world, making it a hub for both established and emerging talent.

  • Conferences and Panels: During the day, ADE hosts industry professionals for panels, workshops, and networking events, providing valuable insights and opportunities for artists and industry stakeholders.  

  • Cultural Events: ADE also includes arts and culture programs, such as exhibitions and film screenings, highlighting the broader impact of electronic music on contemporary culture.

  2. Cultural Representation: Applicants are expected to showcase Greater Manchester’s electronic music scene and cultural heritage at ADE, highlighting how their music reflects the region's identity. 

  3. Audience Engagement: Applicants should outline strategies for attracting new listeners and engaging with their current fan base through their participation in ADE.

  4. Economic Potential: Applicants need to discuss potential income streams from performances, licensing, streaming, and merchandise sales, and how these will support their career growth. 

  5. Long-term Career Impact: Applicants should reflect on how attending ADE will contribute to their long-term career development, including networking opportunities, collaborations, and skill enhancement.

Application Process 

  1. Review Guidelines: Carefully read the application guidelines and criteria to ensure this opportunity aligns with your goals and your career.  

  2. Express Interest: Submit your interest and request an application form by emailing cultureteam@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk addressed to the attention of Rebecca Swarray. 

  3. Complete and Submit: Once you receive the application form, complete all the questions and submit it along with a portfolio of your work. This portfolio should include recent tracks, mixes, or performances, as well as any relevant press coverage or testimonials. This will help us understand your artistic vision and potential impact. 

  4. Deadline: Ensure your application is submitted by 5pm UK time on Monday, 16th June 2025.
