Low Carbon Fund

Low Carbon Fund (supported by European Structural Investment Funds)

The Low Carbon Fund was established as part of England's 2014-20 ERDF Operational Programme and will invest £15m to promote the production and distribution of energy derived from renewable sources. It is envisaged that this will take the form of debt and equity funding of up to £5m with a maximum term of 15 years.

The fund will be managed by CBRE on behalf of the GMCA and is aimed at renewable / low carbon technology installations and district energy networks, with the focus on greenhouse gas reduction.
